Island hopping

Friday, we left Carriacou for Grenada by boat. We were quite nervous since E vomited like there was no tomorrow the day before, but luckily we were ok. Guess who was NOT seasick?

And, to follow up from the recent Grenada stay at Olga’s. Here it is. The non-Caribbean dream!

We had an overnight in St George before a 6.50 AM flight to Martinique. I found a last minute great deal at a fancy resort, with pool, restaurant etc – but E travelling on an empty stomach had been in better moods (to be diplomatic), so we stayed in the room the rest of the day and ordered room service. But, they carried our luggage, thank god.

The 5 minutes of smile we got that day, poor thing

Every day chores need to be performed even in the fanciest hotels (Oh! Hot water!)

Relaxing before a very short night, got up at 4 AM…

The plane was supposed to stop in Barbados, but the plane did a (to us) unexpected stop in St Lucia too.

E enjoying the flight, and us mixing baby porridge in zip locks (no need to heat the water here…).

We arrived in Martinique as planned – more about that will continue. Good bye Grenada, Bonjour Martinique!

  1. Surprise stops at St Lucia seems to be the rule in the Caribbean. We got one when we came to visit you. I guess there's a scary magnetic field around it, and ice bears on it, and... hmm, that was another story...

Have fun on Martinique, all of you! :)
